If you compare this spotter to a high end Leupold, or better, you will be disappointed. If you take it for what it is, a low end spotter that won’t break the bank, then it is great. If I were taking a once in a lifetime sheep hunt, where hours of glassing and studying would be required, this unit WILL NOT be in my pack. The optics are decent, but not crystal clear. I like that it is light, I don’t even know it is in my pack. The tripod that comes with it is pretty much worthless. If you spend another $100 or so, you will put yourself in a completely different class of glass.
